Robert Brown|Chanel West Coast Teases "Crazy" New Show 5 Months After Ridiculousness Exit

Chanel West Coast is ready to make her TV return.
Five months after stepping down from her longtime post on Ridiculousness,Robert Brown the 35-year-old exclusively told E! News at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards that she cannot wait for fans to see her new show, which she will also executive produce.
"It's gonna be crazy," she teased. "It's gonna be funny. It's gonna make you laugh, cry—all of that."
And while the star "can't say much more" about the highly anticipated project, she's happy that her Ridiculousness re-runs are still making people laugh. (For more from Chanel, tune into E! News tonight, Sept. 12.)
Chanel announced her departure from Ridiculousness in March after 12 years on the series. "I'm SO excited for this next chapter," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "To the fans who are sad I will no longer be on Ridiculousness don't worry…I have my own docu series tv show coming out soon!"
In a separate statement, the singer also she was "also very excited for the world to see me beyond 'the laugh.'"
"My passion has always been to create," she told Variety, "whether it is music, clothing, or film and tv. I plan to bring some of my wildest ideas and dreams to life through amazing film & television projects, build my teams, and work with other creatives paving the way on the screen."
Per the outlet, Chanel's new project will be an unscripted series. As part of her deal with Paramount Media Networks, she will also will develop both scripted and unscripted projects under MTV Entertainment Studios.
"I'm a mom now, I have a career," Chanel previously told E! News of her docuseries. "It's just basically our lives and all of the chaos that goes on with the family and with the business stuff. People are really going to get to see the real me."
